About the Founder
QMO8 was founded by Fred Macaraeg, a GTM leader with two decades of experience helping SaaS companies (they were called “on-demand” back then according to him) scale globally. Having lived and worked extensively in Japan and North America, Fred possesses a unique “third-culture” perspective that bridges the gap between Western business practices and the nuanced Japanese market.
He saw countless innovative companies fail to gain traction in Japan due to cultural missteps and a lack of on-the-ground execution. QMO8 was born from this observation—created not as a consultancy, but as a dedicated, agile market-entry partner committed to tangible outcomes.
